Streakers Sports Pub is now open inside Politan Row at Ashford Lane.
“Not your average sports bar, Streakers revels in the scandals, intrigue, and gossip of everything sports-adjacent, which includes its namesake, but also gamblers, dopers, and cheaters,” according to a release from the company.
“You may not remember who won the world series in 1994, but you definitely remember Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding in the Olympic figure skating debacle,” said Benton Bourgeois, co-creator behind a number of Politan Group’s Atlanta concepts including Jojo’s Beloved Cocktail Lounge, Okay Anny’s Cocktail Bar, and Millie’s Pizzeria.
The menu features popular pub drafts, along with mixed drafts such as Snake Bites, Dirty Hippies, and Half and Halfs. The cocktail menu carries heavy hitters such as a Darryl Strawberry Margarita and the John Daly, an alcohol-infused riff on an Arnold Palmer.
“Probably my favorite addition to the menu are the ‘juicers,’ which are our signature jello shots served in oversized syringes with different flavors named after Lance Armstrong, Lawrence Taylor, and others,” said Mara Bryan, beverage director and co-creator. “I just love the walls adorned with images of sports scandals from the last 50 years, including our favorite streaking moments.”
Streakers Pub is open seven days a week. In the late evening, hours mimic those of Okay Anny’s next door, so patrons have two options for late night revelry.
Food is encouraged for purchase from any of the food vendors inside Politan Row, the release said. The pub features live televised sports of all varieties and is available for larger watch parties by reservation. Seating is available for 63. Kids are welcome until 9pm.
