True North 400, a business district dedicated to enhancing Atlanta’s North Fulton community, announced that it has appointed Kristin Winzeler as its new executive director.
Winzeler will be succeeding the organization’s former executive director, Brandon Beach, who was recently confirmed to be the next treasurer of the United States.
Originally joining True North 400 in 2012, Winzeler has been instrumental in the organization’s growth, leading numerous projects in North Fulton that resulted in “increased area investment,” according to True North 400.
Winzeler most recently served as True North 400’s deputy executive director, where she reportedly generated more than $30 million in infrastructure improvements, which in turn spurred over $217 million in new investments across Alpharetta, Roswell and Milton.
Additionally, while in the deputy role, Winzeler played a pivotal role in the organization’s rebrand from North Fulton Community Improvement District to True North 400 back in 2023.
“I look forward to building on the organization’s momentum and continuing the progress and success made possible by the Board of Directors and Brandon’s leadership,” said Winzeler. “True North 400 will continue to make an impact, and I am thrilled to be a vital part of the organization’s vision for the future of our region.”
In her new role, True North 400 says that Winzeler will act as a “steward” to the organization’s members, taking on responsibilities such as managing both small and large projects throughout the North Fulton community, encouraging organizational growth and more.
“I have had the privilege of watching Kristin grow in her leadership role and the board had no hesitation naming her executive director when the opportunity presented itself,” said Tim Perry, managing director and chief investment officer of Jamestown and True North 400 board chair.
“We are anticipating great things as she puts her mark on the organization, and works to execute the board’s vision to continue to improve mobility and access of the district.”
